China Sends 90-Ton Humanitarian Aid to Support Pakistan’s Flood Victims

ISLAMABAD: A 90-ton consignment of humanitarian aid from China arrived in Pakistan on Saturday for families affected by recent floods.

The special relief aircraft landed at Islamabad International Airport carrying 700 tents, 16,000 blankets, 1,000 life jackets, and 4,000 sleeping bags to support communities impacted by recent floods.

Earlier, on September 28, 2025, China had dispatched two relief flights carrying 300 tents and 9,000 blankets, showing its continued support for Pakistan in times of crisis.

Following the directives of the Prime Minister, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), in coordination with relevant institutions, is ensuring swift distribution of all relief items among the affected population.

“The Government of Pakistan expressed gratitude for China’s timely assistance, calling it a reaffirmation of the strong friendship and cooperation between the two countries,” according to an official statement.
