KARACHI: Pakistan has secured a $4.3 million contract to export premium rice to Kenya. The deal was finalized during the second International Food and Agriculture Exhibition (FoodAg 2024), which concluded last week in Karachi. According to the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), this milestone reflects the country’s commitment to delivering top-quality products and reinforcing its position as a trusted global partner. The three-day FoodAg 2024 event attracted over 800 buyers from 75 countries, underscoring its global significance in the food and agriculture sector. The diverse participation facilitated cross-border networking, paving the way for new opportunities in international trade and collaboration. TDAP reported that the exhibition wrapped up on a high note, securing over $1.2 billion in deals, further highlighting the event’s success and its substantial impact on the industry.
