A@SHA satisfied over internet speed

ISLAMABAD: A delegation of Pakistan IT Industry Association (P@SHA) on Thursday visited Pakistan Telecommunication (PTA) Headquarters and discussed and deliberated on facilitation of IT companies and software houses for smooth and congenial business environment. 

Chairman PTA, Major General (R) Hafeez Ur Rehman apprised that PTA is proactively working on ease of doing business for IT sector. PTA is cognizant of the fact that uninterrupted access is fundamental for efficient working of IT industry and is ensuring that IT exporters stay connected and safe while delivering internationally. In this regard, IP addresses for VPNs are being registered for software houses business and IT companies. VPN Registration is a “one window operation” available at PTA and PSEB websites that takes 2 to 3 days and is free of cost.

P@SHA delegation showed satisfaction over the internet speeds which is now being normalized and the industry is back on track.
