University of Gwadar becomes member of CPEC Consortium of Universities

GWADAR: The University of Gwadar (UoG) has been named one of the members of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Consortium of universities, according to a notification of UoG issues on Friday.
As a member of the consortium, the UoG will peruse academic and research projects aligned with CPEC and Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). The application for this membership was channeled through the Director General of the CPEC Study Centre (CPECSC).
Dr. Safdar Ali Shah, the DG of CPEC Consortium at the Higher Education Commission (HEC) in Islamabad has confirmed he inclusion through one of his official letter, according to UoG.
Academic Collaboration under the CPEC Consortium of universities is anticipated to support promising research partnership between Pakistan and China, aiming at finding solutions to CPEC-related problems through joint research. Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sadir and Pro-VC Professor Dr. Sayed Manzoor Ahmed lauded the team of the CPEC study center on this occasion.
